Corporate video orchestral music license
Corporate films live or die on tone: confident but never cheesy, warm but never sleepy. Orchestral classical cues deliver that tone, and licensing them correctly keeps legal, procurement, and the client comfortable. The Commercial tier covers small business marketing, client and freelance work, and multi project use for the same licensee, with a verification URL that answers any rights question from a brand manager. These lyric, calm masters sit under narration and interviews without fighting the message.
Recommended starting tier: Commercial $99 one-time
Client work, paid web/social ads & small-business marketing. Multi-project use.
What this license covers for corporate work
The Commercial tier is built for business content: client and freelance engagements, small business marketing, paid web and social advertising, mass reproduction for one downloadable title, and multi project use for the same licensee. A brand film, a recruiting video, an investor explainer, and the cutdowns for one company can share one Commercial license per track when the licensee stays the same. Coverage is perpetual and worldwide, so investor decks and help centers never expire.
The boundary to watch is broadcast: TV spots, cinema pre rolls, and broadcast advertising need Broadcast and Film, as do streaming productions. Internal and web distribution, conferences, sales enablement, onboarding, and organic social are all inside Commercial. Name the company or campaign at checkout, file the license PDF with procurement, and distribute the verification URL to everyone who will upload the video.
Which orchestral tracks fit business stories
Mozart Piano Concerto No. 21 second movement is the classic confident calm bed: lyric piano and strings that flatter product shots, office b roll, and founder interviews. Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto first movement adds lyric brilliance with a triumphant edge for launches and milestones. Dvorak American Quartet first movement brings playful, open hearted strings for culture videos and community stories.
Debussy La mer is a calm, flowing orchestral bed for sustainability narratives, logistics explainers, and anything involving water, travel, or global reach. Tchaikovsky String Quartet second movement offers gentle lyric strings for testimonials and memorial-adjacent brand stories. All five read as premium without lyrics, which keeps them safe across languages and markets.
How to use them in corporate edits
Start the music under the opening title, duck it 6 to 9 dB beneath interviews, and bring it forward for montages and transitions. Lyric strings mask edit points beautifully: cut picture on phrase boundaries and the audience perceives one continuous thought. Keep the overall bed conservative, since boardrooms and laptop speakers punish loud music under speech, and always mix a music minus version for accessibility and translation.
License before the client review, not after, so the approved cut already contains the final WAV rather than a watermarked preview. Deliver the mixed video, never the standalone audio file, and log the license ID in the project management tool next to the font and footage licenses. If the campaign later expands to broadcast, upgrade for the price difference only and keep the same verification URL chain.
Approvals, procurement, and claims
Procurement teams want three things: who owns it, what it costs forever, and how disputes resolve. The answers fit in one paragraph: our legal entity owns the software rendered master, the composition is public domain, the price is a one time payment with no renewals, and disputes are answered with the license ID plus verification URL. The license PDF records terms version, hash, timestamp, Master ID, and SHA-256 for the vendor file.
Because these masters are never registered with Content ID and we claim no revenue from licensed uses, company channel uploads and client reposts start clean from our side. If a third party system flags the shared notes of a public-domain score, respond with the license ID and verification URL and email support with the license ID, verification URL, and affected URL. We use commercially reasonable efforts to release our claim within 10 business days.

FAQ
Can one license cover the brand film and its cutdowns?
Yes, when the licensee is the same. A Commercial license includes multi project use for the same licensee, so the hero film, cutdowns, and organic social versions for one company share one license per track. Paid ad creative is also covered under Commercial, while broadcast placements need Broadcast and Film.
What do I send procurement for the vendor file?
Send the license PDF and the verification URL. The PDF proves the tier, named project, terms version, and Master ID with SHA-256, and the URL lets anyone confirm the license without an account. There are no royalty statements to file later because the composition is public domain and the master fee is a single payment.
What does a Classical Sync license cover?
You license our software rendered master recording for one named project under the tier you buy, perpetual and worldwide. Creator ($29 one time) covers one project or series, including monetized YouTube with platform served ads, streaming podcasts, and wedding videos. Commercial ($99 one time) adds client and freelance work, music inside paid web and social advertising, small business marketing, and multi project use for the same licensee. Broadcast and Film ($499 one time) adds TV, radio, cinema, theatrical film, festivals, streaming and VOD productions, and broadcast advertising. Title to the recording stays with Magnolia Apps LLC. Every tier delivers the WAV, the license PDF, and a public verification URL.
Will this music trigger a YouTube Content ID claim?
Our masters are not registered with Content ID as reference files, so a licensed use starts claim free from our side. If a claim still appears, email licensing@thepodcastapp.dev with your license ID, your public verification URL, and the video URL. We use commercially reasonable efforts to release our claim within 10 business days of a complete notice. Third party or automated platform claims can still occur on any platform, and that pledge covers our own enrollment of the delivered master.
Do I have to credit the composer or Classical Sync?
No attribution is required. The underlying compositions are in the public domain, and you license only our recording of them from Magnolia Apps LLC. A credit line such as the track title and composer is welcome but optional. What you must not do is register the recording with a PRO, Content ID, or fingerprinting service, resell it as a standalone audio product or sample library, or sublicense it beyond delivering your named project.
What files do I receive after checkout?
Every license includes the licensed WAV (delivered by a 15 minute signed download URL and by email), a license PDF that records the terms version, hash, timestamp, Master ID, and SHA-256, plus a public verification URL of the form /verify?id= that proves the license to YouTube, clients, or distributors. Checkout runs through Stripe, one payment per track, with a 14 day money back guarantee. Keep the license ID with your project files so any dispute can be answered in one email.
