Podcast intro classical music license

A podcast theme plays hundreds of times across a show's life, so the license has to cover every episode, not just one. The Creator tier does exactly that: one project or series with unlimited plays, explicitly including streaming podcasts, for a single payment per track. These short, recognizable classical cuts work as intros, outros, segment bumpers, and ad break beds, and the verification URL protects your RSS distributed audio wherever platforms fingerprint it.

Recommended starting tier: Creator $29 one-time

One project or series. Monetized YouTube, podcasts & wedding videos. Unlimited views.

What this license covers for podcasts

The Creator tier covers one show or series, including streaming podcasts, with unlimited episodes and unlimited listeners. Your intro, outro, and recurring segment beds for that show are all inside one license per track. There is no per episode fee, no audience cap, and no renewal: the theme you pick in season one is still licensed in season ten. Sponsor reads inside your own episodes are also covered as the creator's own sponsored segments.

Move to Commercial when the situation involves clients: producing shows for hire, white labeling episodes for brands, or running the music inside paid ad creative that promotes something other than the show. Network shows with TV or streaming video spinoffs should check Broadcast and Film. For the independent podcaster publishing to Apple, Spotify, and YouTube, Creator is the complete answer, and upgrades cost only the price difference if the show gets acquired.

Which tracks fit podcast intros

Mozart Turkish March is the most recognizable opener in this set: playful, martial, and impossible to mistake, ideal for shows that want energy from second one. Vivaldi Spring is bright baroque optimism for lifestyle, food, and interview shows. The Figaro Overture is a fast curtain raiser that says the show has begun, with natural edit points for a 10 second sting or a 30 second theme.

Bach Well-Tempered Clavier Prelude is calm, steady, and lyric: a thinking person's bed for narrative, science, and study adjacent shows. Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 first movement brings playful urgency with driving strings for news, tech, and sports formats. All five are short catalog cuts that loop cleanly, take voiceover well, and stay recognizable at low volume under a host read.

How to use them across episodes

Build a small kit from one licensed cut: a full length theme for the cold open, a 5 second sting for segments, and a low bed for midroll transitions, all faded from the same WAV so the show sounds consistent. Keep dialogue on top with the music ducked well underneath, and standardize loudness so the theme never startles earbud listeners. Because the license covers the series, every episode uses the same files with no additional paperwork.

Publish the license ID and verification URL in your show operations doc so producers, guests clipping highlights, and YouTube repurposers all share one proof of rights. If a distributor or YouTube flags an episode, dispute with the license ID and email support with the license ID, verification URL, and episode URL. Never register the theme with a fingerprinting service yourself, and never sell the standalone recording as merch audio.

Feeds, YouTube versions, and claims

Podcast audio travels further than most creators realize: RSS feeds, YouTube versions, audiograms, and clips all get scanned by different systems. Our masters are not registered with Content ID and we claim no revenue from licensed uses, so the video versions and audiograms start clean from our side. The underlying compositions are public domain, so there is no publisher to report episode counts to and no performance royalty to accrue on the notes.

If any platform flags an episode, the fix is the same everywhere: answer with the license ID and verification URL, which show the track, tier, licensee, and issue date. We back that with commercially reasonable efforts to release our own claim within 10 business days of a complete notice. One Creator payment per track scores the entire series, every platform, forever inside the tier.

FAQ

Does one license cover all my episodes?

Yes. A Creator license covers one project or series, so every episode of the named show, including intros, outros, and segment beds cut from the licensed track, is covered with unlimited plays. A second, unrelated show needs its own license, and client produced shows need Commercial.

What about the YouTube version of my podcast?

Covered. Creator includes monetized YouTube with platform served ads around your own video, so video versions and clips of the same show are inside the same license. If the show becomes a streaming service production, upgrade to Broadcast and Film for the price difference.

What does a Classical Sync license cover?

You license our software rendered master recording for one named project under the tier you buy, perpetual and worldwide. Commercial ($99 one time) adds client and freelance work, music inside paid web and social advertising, small business marketing, and multi project use for the same licensee. Broadcast and Film ($499 one time) adds TV, radio, cinema, theatrical film, festivals, streaming and VOD productions, and broadcast advertising. Title to the recording stays with Magnolia Apps LLC. Will this music trigger a YouTube Content ID claim?

Our masters are not registered with Content ID as reference files, so a licensed use starts claim free from our side.
