Royalty-free Bach for content creators

Bach backgrounds half the internet's calm content, from study streams to wedding films to explainers, and Bach also generates endless Content ID confusion because thousands of recordings share the same notes. Classical Sync gives creators a clean path: software rendered Bach masters we own, never registered with Content ID, licensed per track with one payment starting at Creator. Pick the cut that fits the format, publish with the verification URL on file, and dispute any stray claim with the license ID.

What this license covers for creators

The Creator tier covers one project or series with unlimited views: monetized YouTube with platform served ads around your own video, your own sponsored segments, streaming podcasts, and wedding videos. That covers the standard creator business: a channel, a course, or a series, all episodes included. The license is perpetual and worldwide, so evergreen content earns without renewals or audience caps.

Choose Commercial when you edit for clients, place music inside paid ad creative, or need multi project use for the same licensee across shows. Course creators selling one downloadable title with mass reproduction are also in Commercial territory. Most solo creators start with Creator and upgrade for the price difference only if the business model changes.

Which Bach tracks fit creator formats

Air on the G String is the universal calm bed: lyric strings for intros, weddings, documentaries, and reflective essays. The Cello Suite No. 1 Prelude is intimate and unhurried, ideal for solo narration, journaling content, and artisan process videos. The Goldberg Variations Aria brings gentle, looping calm that sustains long study and work streams without fatigue.

The Well-Tempered Clavier Prelude in C major is steady and neutral, a thinking bed for tutorials, coding streams, and explainers. Toccata and Fugue in D minor is the dramatic opposite: tense, stormy organ for Halloween content, reveals, and villain edits. Five cuts, one composer, every common creator mood from serene to spooky.

How to use them in your content

Match the cut to the format before anything else: calm lyric cuts loop for hours of study content, while the Toccata works as a 30 second sting rather than a bed. Duck the music under voice, keep intros consistent so subscribers recognize the show, and standardize the outro so compilations and reposts keep the same proof of rights. License the exact catalog cut you publish, since the Master ID on the PDF identifies that recording.

After Stripe checkout, download the WAV within 15 minutes and archive the license PDF with the project files. Add the verification URL to your channel's rights doc or video description template so disputes resolve without scrambling. If a claim appears, answer with the license ID and verification URL and email support with the license ID, verification URL, and video URL.

Content ID and Bach claims

Bach claims are rarely about anyone stealing: they happen because fingerprinting systems hear the same public-domain notes in thousands of recordings and guess. Our protection is structural: these masters are not enrolled as Content ID references and we claim no revenue from licensed uses, so no claim originates from us. The composition itself draws no composition claims because it is public domain.

When a third party system still flags your video, the verification page settles it: licensee name, track, tier, issue date, Master ID, and SHA-256 on a public URL. We use commercially reasonable efforts to release our own claim within 10 business days of a complete notice, and that pledge covers our enrollment of the delivered master. One payment per track, no subscriptions, no revenue sharing.

FAQ

Which Bach piece works for study and focus content?

The Goldberg Variations Aria and the Well-Tempered Clavier Prelude are the best loopers: calm, lyric, and harmonically steady enough to run for hours without listener fatigue. The Cello Suite Prelude suits shorter reflective videos, while Air on the G String fits ceremonies and emotional peaks.

Can I use the same Bach license across my channel and my course?

A Creator license covers one project or series, so one channel or one course series is covered. A separate commercial course sold as a downloadable title with mass reproduction, or editing for clients, calls for Commercial with its multi project use. Upgrades cost the price difference only.

What does a Classical Sync license cover?

You license our software rendered master recording for one named project under the tier you buy, perpetual and worldwide. Creator ($29 one time) covers one project or series, including monetized YouTube with platform served ads, streaming podcasts, and wedding videos. Commercial ($99 one time) adds client and freelance work, music inside paid web and social advertising, small business marketing, and multi project use for the same licensee. Broadcast and Film ($499 one time) adds TV, radio, cinema, theatrical film, festivals, streaming and VOD productions, and broadcast advertising. Title to the recording stays with Magnolia Apps LLC. Every tier delivers the WAV, the license PDF, and a public verification URL.

Will this music trigger a YouTube Content ID claim?

Our masters are not registered with Content ID as reference files, so a licensed use starts claim free from our side. If a claim still appears, email licensing@thepodcastapp.dev with your license ID, your public verification URL, and the video URL. We use commercially reasonable efforts to release our claim within 10 business days of a complete notice. Third party or automated platform claims can still occur on any platform, and that pledge covers our own enrollment of the delivered master.

Do I have to credit the composer or Classical Sync?

No attribution is required. The underlying compositions are in the public domain, and you license only our recording of them from Magnolia Apps LLC. A credit line such as the track title and composer is welcome but optional. What you must not do is register the recording with a PRO, Content ID, or fingerprinting service, resell it as a standalone audio product or sample library, or sublicense it beyond delivering your named project.

What files do I receive after checkout?

Every license includes the licensed WAV (delivered by a 15 minute signed download URL and by email), a license PDF that records the terms version, hash, timestamp, Master ID, and SHA-256, plus a public verification URL of the form /verify?id= that proves the license to YouTube, clients, or distributors. Checkout runs through Stripe, one payment per track, with a 14 day money back guarantee. Keep the license ID with your project files so any dispute can be answered in one email.
